An agreement has recently been signed between IFAD Autos & upay to enable the vehicle manufacturing company to collect monthly installments from its customers and pay employees’ salaries through upay, the country’s fastest growing mobile financial service provider.
IFAD Autos Limited’s Executive Director Uttiya Bakshi Abir and upay’s Chief Business Officer Mahbub Sobhan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective concerns.
Because of this agreement, the customers of IFAD Autos Limited will be able to pay their monthly installments through upay. At the same time, IFAD Autos will be able to give salary to its employees through upay.
upay’s Chief Business Officer Mahbub Sobhan said at the agreement signing ceremony- “We are delighted that IFAD Autos has chosen upay to pay the salaries of its employees working at various factories and collect monthly installments from customers. We hope that IFAD employees and customers can enjoy different services offered by upay in a seamless way.”
IFAD Autos Limited’s Executive Director Uttiya Bakshi Abir said,- “We have tied up with upay taking into account the convenience of our employees & customers and the unique new features available on upay. I hope that more collaborations will happen between IFAD & upay in near future, opening up new avenues of services.”
From IFAD Autos, its AGM- Finance, Nafizul Islam Chowdhury and AGM- Import & Commercial, Mohammad Abdul Aziz; and from upay, its Deputy Director, Shams Azad; Assistant Manager, Md. Mamunur Rashid; Assistant Director, Mamun Reza; Accounts Manager, Mainul Islam Chowdhury along with other senior officials of both the organizations were present at the agreement signing ceremony held at upay’s head office.
United Commercial Bank’s subsidiary ‘upay’ started its official journey on 17 March 2021. At present, upay offers a wide range of MFS services through both USSD and mobile apps. Customers can do all types of financial transactions through upay, such as cash-in, cash-out, utility bill payments, merchant and e-commerce payments, remittances, receiving salaries and government allowances, educational institution’s fees and mobile recharge. Moreover, users can also avail services like upay prepaid cards, toll payment, traffic fine payment and Indian visa fee payment.
