On January 1, 2024, a pleasant homely restaurant of elite style Bengali food has started its journey in Capital’s superb area Banani. The name of restaurant is ‘Swade Bangladesh’. The restaurant has appeared with the commitment of cleanliness and high quality foods with a seating arrangement of 80 people altogether. Food arrangement is absolutely enriched here, hundreds of Bengali food items are available every day. Notable and interesting dishes include Duck Vuna and Duck chui-jhal. It will be accompanied by native rice made-bread and four types of Naan. Lunch also includes Mutton dal gost, Beef Kasha gost, Beef Kala bhuna, Chicken roast, Chicken rezala, bengali style vegetables, 10 types of Vorta and hot steamed white rice. Afternoon meal is more fascinating. Six types of kebabs along with ghee-fried crunchy Paratha are reminiscent of Mughal afternoons. Daily marketed fresh & best quality ingredients are the main charisma behind the taste of the foods of ‘Swade Bangladesh’. Now let’s talk about the environment of the restaurant. Four walls are decorated with various designs. Hand painted designs by famous painter S M Sultan, Poetic calligraphy of rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and world poet Rabindranath Tagore, various rhymes of village & the terracotta on the walls are highly deserving. In the right front part of restaurant, there is a book corner for book lovers. The air-conditioned restaurant has neat floral decorations everywhere.

Now let’s talk a little about the masala milk tea of the restaurant. Special milk tea is served in clay cups. This tea is delicious to remember for a long time. Mixture of tea with paratha and roti will be wonderful. Swade Bangladesh participates in various int’l exhibitions held in Dhaka. For example, they participated in the last Bajus Fair 2024.
