With a total of 33 enthusiastic cooking learners, a workshop on traditional & popular Sweet making was held successfully at SHTI (Scholars Hospitality Training Institute), Malibag, Dhaka. The day long workshop started at 10.30 am and ended at 3 pm on 9 June, 2024.

Veteran trainer, Munmun Akter conducted the workshop with utmost care. The participants learned to make live the traditional and classic sweet items of Bangladesh, such as: Roshgolla, Sponge Roshgolla, Kalojam, Creamjam, Lal Mohon, Roshmalai, Chana Sondesh. The participants were able to experiment every recipe and make properly as per the instruction of trainer. At the end, certificates were handed to all partcipants. They all urged for continuous workshop of Sweet like this.

Next month, special ‘Wedding Dalaa Sweet’ workshop will be held at the same venue in same style- said Sameeha Kabir, head of SHTI & a dynamic cooking master.
